...Specifically "The Farseer," and "The Tawny Man" with a bit of "Liveship Traders" thrown in there, all of which I have read within the last few months (Some for the first time, others for the second.)
WARNING! I would not advise reading this journal unless...

You have already read the trilogies listed above

You never plan on reading them. EVER.
There will be many spoilers. You have been warned. I'm mainly doing this for my benefit, so that I can get it out of my system, and be able to move on to another book. u.u
Alllriiiight. I'd like to start off with a rather out-of-character Sei moment. When it comes to books, I'm not usually a 'shipper.' However....Especially at the end of "Fool's Fate"....DAMMIT HOBB? WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST HAVE MADE FITZ GO FOR THE FOOL? You had enough insinuation and other characters guessing at it! He could have just...Iuno, gone with it? Why must you get in their way, Molly? Fitz and the Fool were more...intimately involved than Fitz and Molly ever were. But not sexually. If that makes any sense. They were just adorable togetherrrrr....The Fool carved his face on a liveship. And then Fitz was all willing to give up his whole life to follow "Beloved" to the south....;-; Why, Fitz? Why are you such a man?
*As I'm typing this, "I'll cover you" from RENT starts playing. How ironic*
I've longed to discover something as true as this is
Now, I'd like to do some writing on the Fool himself. There are those out there who believe that the Fool was a woman all along. There are those who believe he's a man.
I personally believe that the Fool is truly genderless. He '

layed' two male facades: The Fool and Lord Golden. However, he posed as Amber when he lived in Bingtown, and the traders were none the wiser. The Six Duchies folk also saw him as how he was presented.
(BTW, I still type 'him' because it's easier)
He's also described as having androgynous features....he's too slender and delicate to be a man, but the angles of his face are to sharp and defined for him to be a woman. When Fitz was reviving him at the end of Fool's Fate, he mentioned having to confront all of the differences between the Fool and himself....which weren't specifically specified.
I rest my case.
Also, after reading The Liveship Traders, I was really interested in the Sea Serpents' story...And I was pretty pissed to find that the ones I 'followed' turned out all stunted and wrong. D: It made me sad. Poor Maulkin...and Shreever...And Tintaglia was a BITCH.
So, like, at the end of Fool's Fate, Dutiful and Elliania have a kid. Isn't she, like...thirteen? That seems wrong to me. >_>'''
Um, I'm gonna try to shut up now.
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, Twilight was okay. Edward was blah, but Jasper was a babe.
