I dunno. I just haven't been liking this year much. The workload is just crazy, and I can only get online every three days or so. D:

I'm also seriously considering quitting band...I know I won't, because I still want to do All Region and Solo and Ensemble, but...I wish I could. I'm not a section leader, and I'm still a little bitter about that, but my main complaint has nothing to do with that...it's with the way the leadership team treats the....non-LT people. It's like, if someone other than a LT person suggests it, it's automatically wrong because non-LT people don't know anything? But it a LT person says the same thing, they'll listen to them? I hate it.
Like, yesterday, neither of my section leaders were around, and the director said something to our section. Later, when the section leader was back, she was yelling at us for doing what the director told us to do, so I calmly and politely tried to tell her what the director had said. She AND the band president practically jumped down my throat, "No, Rachel, you must be mistaken, that's only on Novus."
And so I try to explain that that was what the directors said, and the president starts griping me out for having an attitude. THAT was when I actually got angry. And so when she insisted that she hadn't said I was wrong, I replied, "You contradicted me, that's the same thing." And I get yelled at again.

I'm starting to hate band.

Not to mention that the guy I like totally likes someone else, so that's a bummer. >_>'
